STRASBOURG FRANCE

We drove into the night and although it was only suppose to take about 2-3 hours, a huge traffic jam extended the trip. We crawled just outside of town for over an hour!

Our hotel is located on a cobblestone bridge, overlooking a river. It is gorgeous here. The staff have been phenomenal.

We ventured for a quick bite before bed and found a quaint little spot around the corner. Mavreen's salad had huge chunks of chevres cheese that she devoured on a delicious french baguette. Vive la France!

Today we slept in :) Yay for Honeymoons!

After lazying about for a while, we got to some exploring. Beginning with a crepe and coffee of course :)

Then a walk through several markets. A used book fair and then an antique market where we found these beautiful little Catholic charms. We both thought of our fathers who would have gone mad for all of the goodies!

We got a few errands done as well. Cell phone SIM card acquired and sent some "things" home.... ie. wine maybe? They will never know ;-)

We visited another cathedral. They are all beautiful and they never get old.

We passed an anti-Iranian Government protest. The second protest we've seen in our short time in Europe. Gotta love freedom of speech and the will to exercise it!

A wonder through shops. Pastries, Candie, Teas... all beautiful things here!

Then dinner. Another crepe. It's never too much.

And now, as we sign off, we sip Rose in bed...

Bonsoir!
